Synopsis in German
Aus enttäuschter Liebe will sich die hübsche Renate in der Donau das Leben nehmen. Musiklehrer Pater Benedikt und seine Chorknaben können das Mädchen retten. Obgleich ein Teil der Klosterbrüder mit Unverständnis reagiert, findet Renate Zuflucht in der Klosterschule. Dem gütigen Abt gelingt es, den Mann ausfindig zu machen, der Renates Lebensüberdruss auf dem Gewissen hat: Robert Wagner, Chefingenieur der Schürmann-Werke. Dieser hat allerdings nur Augen für die kapriziöse Erika, die Tochter seines Chefs. Mit vereinten Kräften bewegen der Abt und die Sängerbuben den korrumpierten Liebhaber zur Einsicht und sorgen für ein Happy End. (3Sat Presse)
